Privacy and Cookie Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: http://bookwormbuffet.com.

Your PRIVACY is important to us. We do not personally collect or save any information you put into the forms on this site. The only information we store is what you enter yourself when you comment on this site or contact us. We will also see the IP address of the computer from which you sent the email. You may ask us to remove that at any time.

Just email Barbara Radisavljevic at barbsbooks (at) sbcglobal dot net. Substitute @ for (at) and a period for “dot” and remove any spaces in the address.

Google’s Privacy Policy applies to Google Advertisements you see here or any cookies Google collects.

Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enable us to personalize your visits to our blog, simplify the commenting procedure, and to track how you use our website. Comments on this blog may be screened with an automated spam detection service to spare our visitors from seeing links to possibly malicious sites.

Like any business we like to see if our visitors come from Google, Facebook, or some other site in order to better manage our business. We use Google Analytics and JetPack to track such visitor information. When we login we can see which pages on this website visitors visited, the paths visitors took, where they came from and how they left. We can not see which website you visited after you leave us however. The only way we could narrow down the information to any one individual is if only one person was on this website that day, and we knew who that was.

If you follow links to third party sites such as our affiliates, we do not receive or collect any personal identifiable information, but those third-party sites such as Amazon or Zazzle may receive it if you visit them and make a purchase. Each site you visit will have its own privacy policy for you to view.

We never sell your private information to anyone or use it to send any unsolicited emails.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 16 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 16 years old or older.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We do not share any private information you leave on this site with anyone. We will never sell it or use it. We will never send you marketing emails without your consent.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

We store any personal information about you on this site that you did not make public yourself except the name and email address you used if you made a comment. You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Your contact information

To request deletion of you personal data or ask privacy questions, please email Barbara Radisavljevic at barbsbooks (at) sbcglobal dot net. Substitute @ for (at) and a period for “dot” and remove any spaces in the address.
